Animal By-Products: Health Rules

Animal by-products created during slaughter - and not intended to enter the food supply - can pose a health risk. This proposal would minimise this risk by setting out clear guidelines on how these by-products should be collected, processed and disposed of.
Regulation (EC) No 1069/2009 of 20 October 2009 amending Regulation (EC) No 1774/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 3 October 2002 laying down health rules concerning animal by-products not intended for human consumption | Dossier 2771 | Status: "In Force" | Updated: 04 Dec 09
