Construction Products Directive: Revision

A common market in construction industry products does not exist at present because of the widely different ways in which technical details are described in Member States. A new Regulation would establish a common technical language so that the characteristics and performance of products can be clearly understood across the EU.
Proposal for a regulation revising Council Directive 89/106/EEC of 21 December 1988 on the approximation of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the Member States relating to construction products | Dossier 2913 | Status: "Current Proposals" | Updated: 11 Mar 10
