Health and Safety: Comitology Part Four

The Commission can often make minor changes to EU law where the essentials are not affected. Experts from the Member States are consulted through a procedure called comitology. The system was tweaked in 2006 and earlier regulations [including many concerning the environment, health and energy therefore need minor adjustment.
