Eco-Label: Complete Review

Products that cause less damage to the environment than their competitors can qualify for the EU Eco label, a flower logo recognised in all Member States. The aim of the scheme, in operation since 1992, is to steer manufacturers and consumers  towards  greener, cleaner goods. The Commission wants to expand the scheme to include more categories and to make it easier and cheaper to apply for the logo.
