Alternative Energy in Bulgaria

Bulgaria is set to benefit from a $170m investment in the production of alternative energy. A US company plans to build a plant for the production of energy from households waste. The plant would be situated near the town of Dralfa. Company managers claim that the plant would not pollute the environment and would be equipped with the latest energy efficiency technology. There are no plants of a similar nature in the region at present.
