Better GM Labelling Needed

The German food industry has called for better labelling of genetically modified (GM) food. The National Federation of the German Food Industry (BVE) wants to see greater transparency along the food chain, and says that the positive labelling of genetically modified food should be part of this. The president of the German Farmers’ Association also spoke out recently against current labelling regulations.
