Bisphenol A Danger

20 January 2010
A study linking the chemical bisphenol A (BPA) to heart disease has been published by researchers in the UK. The report claims that new data strengthens the assertion that high BPA exposure is associated with higher instances of heart disease. This latest study backs earlier findings, though it says that more research is needed to discover exactly how bisphenol is linked to heart disease. BPA is a chemical used in polycarbonate baby bottles, drinks packaging and the lining of food cans. Other scientists however have said that there is insufficient evidence to link bisphenol with heart disease.
