Bullying at Work Increasing

The recession has resulted in a noticeable increase in bullying at work, a UK trade union has claimed. The union Unison says that more than one-third of workers claim to have been bullied in the past six months, double the number a decade ago. Allegations of bullying have become an increasingly frequent feature of claims for unfair dismissal and discrimination. Unison suggests that the recession has enabled workers to get away with bullying behaviour, with budgets to be met and costs cut.
