Carbon Tax Plan Flawed

Industry associations have said that the original carbon tax proposed recently by the French government would have been disastrous for the economy. The government plans to revise its proposal following the French Constitutional Court’s rejection of the original plan. The plan was thrown out after the court ruled that certain exclusions were not justified.
