Christmas Lights Risk

Almost one-third of Christmas lights sold in Europe present a "serious safety risk", claims a new study. The Christmas lights survey was conducted in five countries — Hungary, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia and the Netherlands. It was found that 41% of faulty lights were made in China. Serious problems included poor plugging, faulty wiring and not enough insulation. Consumers have been urged to buy Christmas lights from reputable vendors.
