Construction Firm Fined Over Accident

A Court in Sofia, Bulgaria has found six of nine defendants guilty for the death of a 22 year old construction worker, who died five years ago. The fatal accident was caused by falling material at the work site following the collapse of a building. Those fined include the architects, consultants and directors of the construction company, along with the concrete supplier. Each of them will have to pay €1,540 plus compensation to the three surviving workers, who were injured in the collapse.
