Copenhagen Goes Green

Environmental concerns are evident at the climate change summit in Copenhagen. Organisers say that the 11-day summit, which runs from December 7 to 18, will be carbon neutral. A wind turbine outside the conference centre powers the lights inside, TV stations use low energy LED lighting, the pens are made of recycled plastic bottles and inside there is access to 300 bikes and helmets. Furthermore, plastic water bottles have been banned from the conference centre, and 65% of the food is organic.
