Czech Road Noise Debate 

09 February 2010
The Czech Republic is considering permitting higher noise limits on main roads. While the current limit for noise from main roads is 60 decibels during the day and 50 in the night, the government is debated whether to raise both levels by 5 decibels. Some environmentalists believe that Czech initiative is designed to avoid the need to build sound walls.
