Dioxin in Milk: Northern Ireland

The UK’s Food Standards Agency (FSA) has reported high dioxin levels in milk from two dairy farms in Northern Ireland. Products have been stopped from entering the food chain, but the FSA has not called for a withdrawal of any products distributed prior to the tests in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The FSA has emphasised that levels of dioxin found in milk are much lower than those found in pork and beef.
