Electric Car in Copenhagen

A new electric car has been presented to delegates of the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen. The company claims that using electric cars could help to significantly reduce total air pollution. Electric cars could also help reduce concentrations of benzene, which has been linked to cancer. Some scientists however claim that higher levels of greenhouse gases could be emitted as a result of electricity being generated to charge car batteries than by the operation of conventional cars.
