Energy Potential in Romania & Bulgaria

Romania and Bulgaria are Europe’s most promising markets for wind energy, claim investors. Both countries have reliable winds and generous subsidies on offer. Another factor is that other markets in Europe have become increasingly saturated. Czech power giant CEZ is already building Europe's largest onshore wind park in Romania. There have been reports however of problems in both Romania and Bulgaria over connecting new wind power plants to national grids, where demand far outweighs current capacity.
