Researchers at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium have discovered that giving supplements of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) to mice fed on a high fat diet decreased the levels of inflammatory and metabolic stresses markers that could be found in their livers. These findings add to the growing body of scientific data indicating substantial health benefits of CoQ10 supplementation for people suffering from angina, heart attack and hypertension. This research indicates that CoQ10 supplementation may also improve liver health.
