Fatal Accident at Greek Worksite

A construction worker in Lamia, central Greece died after he was electrocuted while working on a building site. The 23 year old man accidentally hit a power line and received a high volume electric shock. He was immediately transferred to the nearest hospital, where his death was confirmed by doctors. Almost 900 construction-related accidents are reported every year in Greece.
