Firms Awarded for Safety at Work

The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) recently recognised 8 organisations and companies for the promotion of good safety and health practices in the workplace. The awards form part of EU-OSHA’s Healthy Workplaces campaign to promote better risk assessment. “Making workplaces safer and healthier helps to reduce absenteeism and insurance costs, and increases worker motivation and productivity,” said Petr Nečas, Czech Minister of Labour and Social Affairs. This is the ninth such annual award.
