Free Meal at Top Restaurant

Diners at the award winning Fat Duck Restaurant in Bray, in the South of England who contracted food poisoning at the restaurant in January and February will be offered a free meal. The food poisoning scandal, which severely damaged the reputation of the establishment and its celebrity chef, Heston Blumenthal, was likely to have been caused by contaminated shellfish, according to a report by the Health Protection Agency, published last month. The report reserved some criticism for the restaurant however, which it accused of not responding quickly enough to the outbreak.
