French Nuclear Accident Examined

A recent accident at the Flamanville Nuclear Power Plant in France has been blamed on human error. A subcontracted worker who was welding was exposed to an estimated 5 millisieverts of radiation, one quarter of the annual amount for a nuclear worker. The ASN (Autorite de Surete Nucleaire) is investigating the accident.
