French Recycling Venture

A joint venture between a major waste management company and a plastic recycling firm has been launched in France. The joint venture, called France Plastiques Recyclage (FPR), involves the establishment of a PET bottle recycling facility, which is capable of recycling 40,000 tonnes of bottles a year. The recycled material will be used to produce new bottles and food product containers.
