Germany Launches New H&S Site

Germany’s Federal Institute for Occupational Health and Safety (BAuA) has just launched a new web portal which aims to act as a ‘one-stop shop’ for businesses wishing to access information on health and safety at work. The main target of the new portal is employers, particularly owners of small and medium sized enterprises, who have often found it difficult to obtain the information they need in the past. It is hoped that this new portal will help reduce productivity losses related to health and safety issues and increase the competitiveness of firms that use it.
