Illegal Waste in Belgium

The councillor for the environment in Charleroi, Belgium, revealed yesterday that his city is suffering from endemic illegal dumping of waste. The figures show that since August 2008 a total of 5,285 tons of waste has been dumped illegally. The councillor for the environment has pledged to implement firm measures to clean the city and the surrounding region.
