Madrid’s Electric Car Plan

14 September 2009
Madrid’s city council has unveiled a plan which will convert some 30 telephone boxes into electric car charging points. The Spanish government is planning to spend €10m on promoting the use of electric cars. The mayor of Madrid has predicted that electric cars will eventually become obligatory in city centres.
