Nano Food Products Hard to Assess

It is very difficult to detect and measure levels of nanomaterials, admitted the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). This means that risk assessment of some nano products might be extremely difficult to make. The chair of the EFSA’s scientific committee said that each case has to be studied individually in a “cautious” way, even if this might lead to a longer process.
