No Pasta for Italy

According to a report by Britain’s Met Office, global warming will cause food shortages that will have a large affect on the traditional food products produced in European countries. For example, the durum wheat crop in Italy will start to decline by 2020 and will almost disappear by the end of the century. France will be unable to produce many of its wines, including champagne. And Spain may lose its position as a leading producer of fruit and vegetables as much of the country will turn into desert.
