No Radiation Threat in UK Food

Britain’s Food Standards Agency has stated in a new report that the amount of radiation in the UK food chain remains low and poses no health threat to consumers. The research found that consumers' exposure to artificially produced radioactivity for aquatic, terrestrial and total dose pathways remained below the EU annual dose limit of 1 millisievert for all artificial sources of radiation.
