Norovirus Link to Berries

The Finnish food safety authority, Evira, is urging consumers of berries to heat them before use, after a norovirus outbreak was linked to frozen raspberries from Poland. The authority advises people to heat the fruit to 90 degrees Celsius for at least two minutes before eating. Noroviruses are the most common cause of stomach upsets and are highly contagious.
