Nutrition Labelling Survey

A new European survey suggests that nutrition labels are not a consumer priority when making purchases. The European Food Information Council (EUFIC) suggests that, in fact, less than a third of European consumers look out for nutrition labels. Of those that do, the focus tends to be on fat, calories, sugar and salt in the nutrition table, along with the Guideline Daily Amounts (GDA) label.
