Packed Lunches Analysed

A new study warns that packed lunches given to UK school children contain junk food, despite attempts to encourage healthier eating. The study says that while British children eat 5.5bn packed lunches each year, only 1% of their lunchboxes would meet the tough nutritional standards established for school dinners. About half of all children in England take a packed lunch to school.
