Particulates in Air Cut Life Expectancy

15 April 2009
Toxic air particles cut life expectancy by an average of one year, says the Director of the Dutch Institute for Risk Assessment Sciences (IRAS). In addition, children are developing more allergies because of toxic ambient air particles. The Institute for Risk Assessment Sciences (IRAS) is affiliated with the University of Utrecht.
