Pesticides Found in Organic Tea

A Swedish study has found that 8 out of 10 popular brands of green teas in Sweden contain chemicals that could be hazardous to human health. The teas tested in the study included one brand that was marketed as organic. Traces of pesticide chemicals such as Cypermethrin, Ethion, Deltamethrin as well as substances banned by the EU such as Biphenyl and Azinphos-methyl were found, though only one brand had levels of chemical residue that exceeded Swedish Food Administration limits.
