Portugal: ‘7 Wonders’ Competition

Candidates to become one of Portugal’s ‘Seven Natural Wonders’ have been submitted for public vote. Organisers say that hundreds of sites, including beaches, cliff tops and forests, have been put forward. An edited list will be unveiled on 7th February, before 21 finalists will be submitted to a public vote open until September 7th. The final ‘Seven Natural Wonders of Portugal’ will then be announced in September 2010.
