Processed Food Link to Depression

People reporting a high consumption of processed foods could be more likely to experience depression in middle age, says a new study. A team of researchers at University College London, has identified that those with the highest intake of whole foods, such as fruits, vegetables and fish, were less likely to report depression symptoms later on. The researchers have identified certain limitations with their own study however, such as the fact that the group of people studied were not representative of the wider population.
