Railway Worker Arrested

23 September 2009
A former railway clerk was arrested in Romania yesterday on suspicion of being responsible for derailing a fast train injuring 15 people. The train, which was leaving the station of Craiova in the south of Romania, was headed to Bucharest when it left the rails early yesterday morning. Negligence by maintenance workers has not been ruled out as a cause of the accident, however a preliminary report suggests foul play.
