Safety Conference in London

The UK government is still learning how best to raise awareness of public liability insurance in medium-sized construction companies, a European health and safety conference heard recently. Attendees at the Federation of Master Builders (FMB) conference were also taken on a tour of London’s Olympic site to see how health and safety challenges are being addressed. The director general of the FMB, Richard Diment, also said that it was essential that trade associations provide support and assist SMEs in all aspects of their work.
