Singer Suffers Food Poisoning

The veteran singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen has resumed his Spanish tour only days after collapsing on stage with a suspected case of food poisoning. Cohen was in the middle of singing his song "Bird On The Wire" in the eastern Spanish city of Valencia on Friday when he fainted, prompting the band to stop playing and rush to help him. At his first concert since his illness on Monday – also his 75th birthday - he received a standing ovation and a chorus of ‘Happy Birthday’ from the 14,000 strong crowd in Barcelona.
