Small Enterprises ‘More Dangerous’

Research in Denmark has shown that employees in enterprises that employ less than 50 people are statistically more likely to die in a work accident than employees in larger companies. The report suggests that this is often because small enterprises lack personnel with professional expertise in health and safety regulations. The report also notes however that the situation has been improving in the last few years.
