Solar Power in Valencia

A two-day conference on solar power is due to take place in Valencia, Spain in May. The conference will bring together representatives from the 43 member countries of the Mediterranean Union (UPM). Solar power for the Mediterranean is one of the priorities for sustainable development in the region. The main target is to reach a 20-GW capacity in the production of renewable electricity on the southern shore of the Mediterranean.
