An investigation is currently underway into an accident at the Werratal barracks in eastern Germany where a soldier drove a car into a group of his colleagues, injuring 13, of which 7 were injured seriously. The soldier was said to have been under the influence of alcohol, but initial reports indicate that the accident was not malicious. The barracks were partially evacuated and sealed off following the incident.
