Soya Health Benefits for Women

Diets supplemented with soy isoflavones may benefit bone health and mitigate menopause-related syndromes, a new study has shown. Researchers have tested the effects of soy compounds on rats and found that soy aglycons of isoflavones can prevent degeneration of the vaginal wall due to their weak oestrogenic properties. The study also states that isoflavones have been proved to be an alternative to hormone replacement therapy for women in menopause. Other benefits of soy include enhancement of liver antioxidative and prevention of coronary heart disease.
