Spanish Nuclear Facility Plans

A €700m temporary nuclear waste storage facility is planned to be built in Spain, though there is strong public opposition to the move. The Spanish government is currently looking for a suitable site for the plant, and is offering incentives for local authorities. The new plant would store waste from Spain's 9 nuclear plants until a permanent site has been established.
