Spanish Theme Park Worker Killed
20 May 2009
A Catalan worker was killed after being run over by a roller coaster wagon at the Port Aventura theme Park in Tarragona, Spain. The 55-year old man was doing maintenance work on one of the park’s attractions when the roller coaster suddenly began operating. The victim was transferred to the park’s medical centre but his injuries were fatal. The accident occurred prior to public admission. The Catalan Police and park’s authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
