Study: No Tumour Link to Additives

A new study, carried out by scientists from Imperial College London and Harvard, challenges the hypothesis that nitrogen-containing compounds, often found in processed meats, fruit and vegetables cause brain tumours. The study found no link between nitrates and nitrides and brain tumours. The findings are in line with other recent studies that have claimed that the additives do not increase the risk of other cancers.
