Swedish Insurance Plans

Sweden has put forward a proposal that would dramatically increase the cost of mandatory liability insurance on companies owning nuclear reactors. Reactor owners would also be subject to unlimited financial liability. The proposal follows Sweden’s announcement that it plans to reverse its long term position of phasing out nuclear power by planning to build new reactors.
