Swedish Nurse Suffers Hand Burns

A nurse at an elderly people’s home in northern Sweden has suffered burns after residual traces of an alcohol based disinfectant caught fire while she was pushing a trolley. It is likely that the fire was started by static electricity in the trolley. The nurse was able to put out the fire herself and suffered only minor burns. The local council has reported the incident to Sweden’s Work Environment Authority.
