Trade Unions & NGOs in Nanotech Talk

European trade unions and environmental NGOs will discuss the issue of nanotechnologies in the workplace with members of the European Parliament today (April 2). The conference, entitled Working and Living with Nanotechnology, has been organised by the EU-funded project NanoCAP and Parliament’s Science and Technology Options Assessment Committee (STOA). Discussions with MEPs and other stakeholders will cover environmental and workplace safety. Appropriate measures for implementing a precautionary approach will also be examined.
