UK consumer pressure group Which? wants the food industry to do more to tackle excessive sugar, salt and fat content in consumer products. The “Hungry For Change?” report also argues for a more consistent, industry-wide approach to labelling to help people make healthy choices. The report looks over actions taken over the last 5 years to tackle obesity and diet-related diseases, and concludes that many manufacturers continue to use “irresponsible claims”.
