Universal Phone Chargers

The mobile phone industry has pledged to develop a charger that can be used on any type of mobile phone and will reduce energy consumption. The industry says that the initiative will not only make life easier for consumers, but crucially help them reduce their carbon footprint. It is claimed that the new device will result in a 50% reduction in standby energy consumption.
